Excentrique

Outfit Details:
Shirt- From the Mudfest
Shorts- #Forever21
Tights- Target
Shoes- #Asos
I like my hair today. It's fun and it sort of reminds me of an Emily Martin character. I used to love doing this hair style when I had my super long blond hair, because it would make these perfectly sized nice big twists on the sides of head. Yes, my natural hair color is blond! People ask me that a lot, but I usually can't find a good picture that showcases my hair, but here's one if you want to see it:

Also, today in French, I learned to say "I am eccentric." But in french. It would be: Je suis excentrique. Fancy, right? I also learned more about taking measurements in costume crew, so today has just been filled with learning! AND I even had an assembly where we looked at pictures of drug-addict's mouths!!! So, you know, it's just been win-win-win for today!!
I hope you've all had a glitterifically wonderful day today, filled with knowledge and maybe some decaying teeth?
Love,
Chloe

Pants.

Outfit Details:
Blouse- #Forever21
Suspenders- #h&m
Pants- #Forever21
Socks- Betsy Johnson
Shoes- Shoebuy.com
As you can probably see, it's not often that I wear pants, but I found a pair this weekend that I really like. I always think that vintage men's pants look so cool (way cooler than mos of the pants now), and so I was happy when I found this pair at Forever21. It's cool because they even button on the man side, and that's just super awesome. I realized after I got dressed this morning that I was wearing my "man" pants with my "man" suspenders, which i got in the men's section of h&m, because man suspenders are just so much better quality that girls ones. Also, sorry not to have been posting for a while, but this week in school we actually started to have more homework and tests and things, but I did get an A on my first geometry test of the year, so I think that makes a good excuse to be slacking on blogging.
I wish you all a very glitterific day, filled with pretty pants, and man suspenders!

Chloe

Fancy Farmer Chloe

Outfit Details:
T-shirt- #Modcloth
Dress- #Forever21
Tutu- #Forever21
Tights- #Forever21
Socks- #Modcloth
Shoes- Shoebuy.com
This outfit makes me feel like a farmer. But a fancy one. I love this dress, and I got it last summer (2011), and I decided to wear it last night, after seeing a picture on pinterest on a girl wearing an apron dress. It also seemed like a good opertunety to wear my much loved new lacy  socks. They are very fancy. Then, my hair was sticking out oddly in the back this morning, so I grabbed my bandana and tied that over my hair after pining the back down. I like how it looks and it kind of adds to the whole "Farmette" vibe.
I hope you've all had a marvelously glitterific day!
Love,
(Farmer) Chloe

Rainbow Brite

Outfit Details:
Dress- #Modcloth
Hat- #Forever21
Socks- #Modcloth (or Sock It To Me)
Boots- Doc Martins (I think from Ebay)
Today I feel Rainbowrific. That usually happens when I wear a new outfit, but this one especially (for obvious reasons). I was happy that I got to wear both one of my new dresses from Modcloth, but I also got to wear my new socks (also from Modcloth). I don't know a bout you, but personally, I really like how this whole outfit works together. Especially with my hair, which I redid last night, all by myself. I just really like all of the rainbow stripes on my dress, and the watching lemon-y belt, and I like the length and everything, even tough I might need to make a smaller whole for the belt. I also love my socks, which have a print of buttons on the sides if you can't tell.
I hope you've all had a glitterific, and very very rainbowrific day!
Love,
Chloe

Bow Ties are Cool.

Outfit details:
Hat- #Forever21
Shirt- #Forever21
Jacket- #Forever21
Bow tie- #Modcloth (it's technically a hair clip)
Belt- #Forever21
Skirt- #Anthropology
Tights- Target
Shoes- Shoebuy.com
Why yes, I did use a Doctor Who reference as my post title. "Why," you ask? Because Bow ties are cool. As is the aforementioned British TV series. I actually wore this outfit on Friday, but when I went to put the pictures on my computer, I realized that it was almost midnight, and that I needed to sleep. And yes, I am holding a screwdriver in the last picture, because I'm just that much of a nerd. When I wore this outfit, I kind of felt like the child of the 11th doctor, and a stick of cotton candy, because of my hair and tights. Technically, I'm not really wearing a bow tie, because it's a hair clip from Modcloth, but I wore it as a bow tie, so now it is. And it's cool.
I hope you've all had glitterific weekends, filled with Doctor Who marathons (much like mine was)

Chloe

A Ladybug in the Rain

Outfit Details:
Dress- #Forever21
Tutu- #Forever21
Leggings- Target
Socks- Sock It to Me
Hat- Not sure, I stole it from my friend
Sweater- #Forever21
I love this dress, because it reminds me of a ladybug. It's even got those fluttery sleeves, that are sort of like the wings. I also like my socks, that have little raindrops and umbrellas on them, which fits perfectly with the current weather. It has, in fact, been raining off and on all day. I've been so happy to actually wear sweaters without just getting super hot, and getting to walk in between my classes at school in the rain. I had my sweater and a hat to wear, but I spent most of the day without them on, trying to soak up as much of the rain as possible. Strange, because most people would say almost the same thing about sunshine... Oh, and I also wore my black docs again today, but I'm not in the picture because I'm lazy and I don't feel like lacing up my boots just to take them off again in two minutes. I'm sorry, but you can always use your imagination :)
I hope you had a glitterific rainy day (even if it didn't really rain wherever you are)
Love,
Chloe

A Purple Day

Outfit Details:
Dress- Vintage
Tights- #Forever21
Shoes- Daddy-o's
Ok, so technically, yesterday was my purple day, but I didn't get a chance to post last night, and I overslept to day so my outfit isn't that exciting. Plus, I just liked this outfit. I felt like grape jelly, and it had a mint green ribbon, and I loved it. I got the dress at American Vintage in L.A. for less than 20 dollars, and even though it's a few sizes too big, I liked it with the ribbon. I was very excited today, though because it rained the most it has since spring, even if it was just a little drizzle. I'm always happy when it rains, and if I could, I would live somewhere where it rained everyday. I know, I'd probably feel differently if I actually did, but it just sounds nice. Adding to my excitement, was the fact that I am officially on the costume crew for our High School play, "A Midsummer Night's Dream." It seems cool because I think we're doing a sort of steam-punk take on it.
That's all for now, but I hope you all have a glitterific day, maybe filled with some rain?
Love,
Chloe

Cats and Dogs

Outfit Details:
Blouse- #Forever21
Belt- #Forever21
Skirt- #Forever21
Socks- #Forever21
Shoes- Punkrose
Cardigan- Old Navy
Oh, how I wish I could make this post title some way to let you know that it's "raining cats and dogs," but alas, it has only to do with the main elements of my outfit. My blouse actually has little scotty dogs on it, and my shoes have cats. Unfortunately, it's been warm with barely a cloud in the sky after 12 pm, but today I did do more than sit at home wishing for a rainy day, because I went to an indie-rock show at Muddy Waters, a local coffee shop by day, all-ages club by night, that was the first place in Santa Barbara that bands like Beach House and Bon Iver played at. Today was the "Muddfest," which was super fun, and for about 20 dollars, you got to go in any time from 2-10 or the whole time, and hang out and listen to all of these different local bands. They said that they might continue it tomorrow with some more bands, so if you're in the area, you should think about checking it out. I think we saw the last five or so bands, which included Rainbow Girls, Islay Street, Gardens and Villa, and (My favorite one of the night) Dante Elephante.
I hope you all have had an extra glitterific day!
Love,
Chloe
