Pastel Prairie

 Coat: Old Navy, Shoes: Target
I just finished this dress and bonnet last night and I love how they turned out! I used this pattern in B with a few adjustments like the collar, made out of an old sheet from the thrift store for fabric. I used left over fabric to make the cap, using this baby bonnet pattern by Storybook Woods. I just printed out the image they have on the site of the side pattern and sized it up by I think 150% so that it would fit my not-baby-sized head and then used some scrap paper curved around the top to make a pattern for the fabric down the middle because I didn't want to order the actual pattern since it wouldn't fit anyway. Before I sewed it I embroidered flowers on the sides and I added peach ribbons so that I can tie it under my chin if I want.
I wore it with a mustard coat with a little pink boutonniere I made for the lapel, black tights and my black Target flats.
I also baked a whole bunch of matcha cupcakes last night using this recipe from The Scran Line and they turned out really good! They said that the green would fade when they baked but I didn't add any food coloring and they still came out super bright green. I brought some to class today and everyone seemed to like them.
I hope you have a lovely day!

Polka Dots and Plaid

Dress and Sweater: Vintage, Tights: Forever 21, Shoes: Target
Yet another outfit from a while ago, but I really really liked this one. I wore a vintage blue plaid dress with a crinoline under it with an old green sweater that I pinned a vintage white fur collar onto.
I hope you have a lovely day!

Velvet and Lace

Dress: Vintage, Sweater: h&m, Boots and Socks: Asos
This outfit was also from a couple of months ago and I wore a vintage pink nightgown with maroon fishnets, white lace-trimmed socks and pink velvet boots.
I hope you have a lovely day!

Cosmic Unicorn

Sweater and Dress: Thrift Store, Tights: Forever 21, Socks: Asos, Shoes: Old Navy
I wore this outfit a couple months ago but I couldn't find my camera charger and then I forgot to post these for soooo long. I wore a floaty ballet costume under a rainbow sweater that I got from the children's section at the thrift store. I also wore purple tights with sheer glittery unicorn socks from Asos.
I hope you have a lovely day!

Lots of Lavender Ribbons

Blouse: H&M (men's), Dress: Target, Ribbon: Michael's
Today I wore my new corduroy overall dress from Target over a white button-up that I rolled the sleeves up on and tied a ribbon around the collar. I also wore matching lavender ribbons in my hair and some maroon-y striped socks with my lavender tulle-laced oxfords. I tried to make my eyebrows lavender to match my ribbons but they turned out either too dark or too gray, I can't decide.
The dress had really nice pockets though! I put all kinds of things in them all day and also I like the little pink flowers all over it.
I hope you have a lovely day!

Unicorn Dress

Dress: Vintage (Modified), Tights: H&M, Shoes: Forever 21
On Tuesday I pursued higher education wearing a pale green unicorn-print dress, striped tights and oxfords with lavender tulle for shoelaces with pink roses in my hair and pink iridescent glitter around my eyes. I did some alterations on this dress on Monday because it was just about an inch too small around the waist but it had a bunch of interfacing on the top half and also a neckline I didn't really like, but I loved the fabric.
I ripped a whole bunch of seams and cut out almost all the interfacing and excess fabric and put in panels on the side (which ended up making it a bit too big but I don't mind). Then, I cut down the collar by a few inches in the front and used some light aqua fabric and made 3 inch wide and about 1.5 ft long tubes which I pinned into pleats and sewed on as a collar. I used some ribbon in a slightly darker aqua to disguise where I attached it and also as a tie in the front because there was still a little keyhole that I hadn't closed up.
I think the dress turned out very super cute!
I hope you have a glitterific day!

13 Barbies

Top: Forever 21, Sweater and Skirt: H&M, Shoes: Iron Fist
Today I wore a new-ish top from Forever 21 that's cropped to my waist and black and white gingham with a white collar. I wore it with a mint cardigan and a black skirt with black tights and my cupcake flats. I pinned my red feminist rosette on my blouse and drew a crescent moon on my cheek in eyeliner since the moon's in waxing crescent.
In the past week I've purchased 13 Barbies and then realized that I'm going to be a legal adult in a couple of months. I got them to use for projects (like making a crown which I might do a DIY post about) but so far I've just played with them. I did color one of their hair pink though and my friend and I made them into a girl gang, so they've gotten some use.
I hope you have a glitterific day!

Baby's Breath Princess

Dress: DIY (?), Tights: Forever 21, Shoes and Socks: Modcloth
My sister ordered jellies online but they were too big for her and then I got some new ones recently but they were just a bit too small and we ended up trading because they fit each other perfectly so that worked out and now I can wear jellies more which is super chill.
Today I wore the bottom layer of my wedding dress' skirt as a dress by pinning the waistband over my shoulders and, like, now it's a dress? I also tied a purple ribbon at the waist because it's real fluffy and it kept getting in the way. It still has a few fake bloodstains and burn marks, but you know. #relatableteenproblems
I also wore sparkly light blue tights and gray frilly socks along with a baby's breath headband that I made a few weeks ago.
I hope you have a glitterific day!

Super Spacey

Sweater and Skirt: h&m, Blouse: Forever 21, Tights: Target, Sweater Clips: DIY
I got a new sweater at h&m a few weeks ago and it's really cool and reminded me of a space mermaid because it's all blues and greens and swirly kind of and it's glittery and it's good. I wore it with a collared blouse and pins I made out of some glow-in-the-dark stars and my sparkly moons and stars tights (that you can kind of sort of make out in the lighting).
I hope you have a glitterific day!

Rainbow Dresses and Carnation Crowns

Dress: Modcloth, Sweater: Old Navy, Sweater Pins: DIY
I kind of forgot to post this but like a month ago I wore my rainbow dress and I made a really pretty flower crown with roses and carnations and baby's breath and I tied it off with shiny silver ribbon and mint ribbon and it was good.
I hope you have a lovely day!

My Room Is Really Cute Btw

Sweater: Old Navy, Sweater Pins: DIY, Dress and Petticoat: Vintage
Recently my sister moved back home so I moved rooms and gave her back the bigger one but I got to paint my new room and decorate it and it's really really cute and I'll post some better pictures of it once I get it cleaned up more. Three walls are pale lavender and one is mint and white stripes and the closet is painted bright pink inside and I have so many twinkle lights that I barely ever use the overhead lights and it's all very lovely. I need to find some real curtains that aren't just folded up sheets, but everything looks very nice.
Today I wore a vintage dress with a super floofy aqua petticoat with a pale pink cardigan and my heart-shaped felt sweater pins. I wore wisteria and jasmine in my hair and it smelled very nice all day.
I hope you have a lovely day!

Bats and Fungi

On Friday I wore my bat dress with mushroom-print knee socks and my chelsea boots. I pinned little bunches of flowers on either side of my head and wore green eyeshadow and lilac lipstick.
I hope you have a lovely day!
